15 Minute Drawings at the USAA - The Girl with the Elephant Tattoo
More life drawings from what felt like 100 feet away from the model (it was more like 15-20). Plus the light was on the other side of the room so all I got was 100% shadow. Overall a crappy experience. *sigh* Good thing the people there are nice. :)

Wishful Thinking
I haven't taken a vacation all year. I mean an actual one where I'm not taking my pets to the vet, standing in line at the DHS, or catching up on yard work. I mean a real vacation where I'm not doing some sort of chore. Anyway, I took a micro vacation this morning by drawing what I would like to be doing. Here is what I came up with:
I definitely want to go somewhere where I can wear something that I can feel vitamin D on my skin. It's a good feeling. Somewhere with heat and water both.I want to sip something icy and cold so I feel cool on the inside, while the sun warms me on the outside. Ahhhh.
Also SHAME ON ME for not drawing enough. Drawing is just as important as brushing your teeth and exercise. Should do it everyday!
Until Later,
Tiffanny

San Antonio Zoo / Toy Studies / Nature Documentary Drawing
From the San Antonio Zoo...
In preparation for drawing moving zoo animals, I studied toy animals. These are from imagination using a toy as reference...
Also wanted to see various realistic poses, so I drew these while watching Planet Earth...
Animals are so fascinating and I like spending time with them and learning about them. I am continually in awe of how they are so naked against the world and still carve out a life for themselves. That is a power we understand little of, now that we've been so removed from nature.
I hope to have more animal-related posts :) I'm hoping that all this studying will lead to a strong enough understanding to do awesome character designs!

Watercolor - Agent
Agent:36-24-36
Likes: Freedom
Dislikes: Oppression
Some sketches in case you are interested:
At the beginning of the year I did a pencil animation involving Agent, in Agent vs Nemesis. I've redesigned her with the idea of of her becoming a 3d model. Meaning more structure and details, and of course color :) I'm excited about her ribbon because I think it will look cool flapping about in 3D as she's running around karate chopping bad guys. I picture her to be a perfect independent American woman. Stay tuned for the redesign of Nemesis!
Until next time!

Naked Lunch - Chelsea
I wish there was a Naked Lunch session every week. Nothing sharpens you drawing skills like short-duration gesture drawing.
The premise of Naked Lunch is short poses, 7 minutes and less.
Looking forward to the next session,
Tiffanny

7 minutes...
(She was wearing a rubber dino mask and a chef's hat on this pose... I thought I had to say in in case you were thinking... What the?!)
(The model was good at projecting the right attitude that matches the pose)
3 minutes...
(The dino mask, again...)
1 minute...
Looking forward to the next session,
Tiffanny
