Identical Bikinis

What's the worst thing that can happen to a gal at the beach? When another girl wears the same bikini better than you!

This is my entry for this week's Illustration Friday topic "Identical".
and here are some closeups:

Feels a little like Betty and Veronica, huh?
Here's the sketch:

Well, I hope you like my entry!

Until next time,
Tiffanny

Great drawing. You've done an excellent job with proportions on each figure, and your subtle use of color brings out the curves and the figure further. The poses you've placed each character in also showcases each of their attitude.

Great piece.

Great drawing. you've done a wonderful job with the figure proportions. The subtle use of colors also helps bring out each form of the body.

The poses you've put each figure in also helps the attitudes of each character read very easily.

Excellent work.

Is this purely from imagination? Did you reference the poses? Your figures look so realistic, the poses so natural, but they're cartoons. How does someone learn to draw such realistic and natural poses from imagination? Your work is charming.

Oh my gosh, thanks for the nice comments everyone!

Mark - I didn't have references for these poses, but I do go to figure drawing sessions fairly regularly, so I do have some understanding of how to make figures do what I want. :) I am so very flattered at your comment.

Thanks for the nice comments all!

These girls are both hot! And I mean that as a compliment in that drawing pretty girls is one of the most difficult things to do. They're cartoony but also cute, which makes the piece all the more charming :)

Very great! Like others have said, they both wear it equally well. But I notice that it's usually the darker hair girl that does most of the complaining. -__- But anyway, nice job again!
